As animation was fun and rewarding, video is what I really have my sights on. When I took the career cruising test, my ninth occupation was director, the reason I entered this program. As animator actually took a higher spot on the list, it just in not right for me. Many other option reflected my artistic flare and creativeness, such as writer, art director, and director of photography. Each of these options are still a possibility but my current plan is as follows: As soon as I finish high school, I want to go on to jccc for a couple years in film classes and then get a scholarship for a prestigious film school. Afterwards, I will get a job with a film studio and help produce a movie. Over about 7 years I will climb the ladder to independent director and start my own studio.
Directing would be the perfect career because I think through ideas for fun and it pays pretty well. I could also spread good ideas though entertainment. Even if animation is not not my thing, it does have its benefits. Many of the best story's in cinematic history have come from animation. The Lion King, Cinderella, and the collection of Pixar films are all of animation and were wildly successful. I will leave the animation strand enlightened about a new road I can take someday.
