Logo Color Schemes

Analogous

This logo Is designed in an analogous way, to attract attention. With its shining shades of color, any light or shine will bounce off drawing people to the symbol and its products. The stars on the logo also make use of the blue in some serene night sky. These trusting colors and display really emphasizes that "Love is What Makes a Subaru, a Subaru".

The Hot Wheels logo, uses the three analogous shades of yellow to create a warm, but not completely boiling feeling. This is used to represent burning rubber, and the streak like speed of Hot wheels cars.

Complementary

The color contrast an similarities are so attention getting that the product stands out. Its unique logo does not identify with one company, but with itself. Its uniqueness is due to its logo, and how its so different.

The split complementary scheme of this logo, makes unique, but slightly avoidable. The two purple colors almost cancel out, and the logo is more relaxed than most other fast food icons, but still achieves it goal. The magic of this logo is not in its color scheme, but in the bell. A bell  suggests dinner time, and maybe even royalty.

Warm Colored

This yellow logo creates a feel of caution and efficiency. The contrast of black and yellow also catches the eye. With the color of caution, comes the idea of seriousness and legitimacy.  Also, the big letters and small word in one place makes a  BIG impression, matching the size of CAT's merchandise.

The reason for this logos color, is in the logo. Red is representative of fire and heat. This makes sense, as the product is a cinnamon candy that burns the mouth. The half fun logo font also implies that this product is a candy and is hot.

Cool Colored

The blue in this logo is present simply to repeat the idea of water. The mountains imply a fresh and cold taste as does the relaxing blue. With the light red, the blue looks not too different from it. The white gives an icy feel and a refreshing tone.

The blue in this suggests haste, but professional and careful speed. The eagle in the blue pane also makes him an icon trustable and one that is efficient. The interesting shade of blue makes the color mimic the ocean, which implies that no ocean will stop the mail.

Primary Colored

The Jayhawk catches people's attention as a more classic looking and standard mascot. When surveyed on a chart, eyes always drift to this mascot's classic scheme. The color contrast from the head to the body is also dynamic to the entire figure.

In this logo, each color stands for itself in a way where the colors collide in a brilliant display. The bat is seen as an aura of gold and majesty, as the cardinals beak. The red is the central point and gives a gem like idea to the logo. The dark blue finally gives it a cool and satified ending and background.
